Bahrain Resmi Dicoret dari Kalender F1 2011
Seperti diwartakan sebelumnya, GP Bahrain akhirnya dinyatakan batal setelah sempat muncul kesimpangsiuran mengenai pelaksanaan balapan yang sejatinya menjadi seri pembuka musim ini.
Usai pembatalan tersebut, World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) pun kini sudah bersepakat untuk meratifikasi kalender untuk F1 2011, sebagaimana dijelaskan oleh International Automobile Federation (FIA).
"Seri GP India perdana akan digelar pada 30 Oktober... dan musim akan berakhir di Brasil pada 27 November 2011," jelas FIA seperti diwartakan Reuters.
Dengan resminya GP Bahrain dihapus dari kalender 2011 maka musim ini tinggal menyisakan 12 seri balapan, dengan tujuh lainnya antaranya sudah dilaksanakan.
