Jusuf Merukh Tak Takut Dipolisikan Presdir Newmont
"Indonesia adalah negara hukum, silahkan saja Martiono Hadianto melaporkan hal yang dianggap sebagai pencemaran nama baik beliau, jika beliau merasa punya nama baik," tutur Jusuf dalam pernyataannya yang diterimadetikFinance, Kamis (16/6/2011).
Dia mengatakan, tuduhan penggelapan dokumen arbitrase yang dilakukan oleh Martiono adalah kenyataan. "Bukti ada, karena itu akan dibuktikan di kepolisian," imbuhnya.
Dalam pernyataannya, Jusuf mengakui dia menuduh Martiono menggelapkan dokumen rapat umum pemegang saham (RUPS) Newmont pada 15 November 2005. Jusuf juga membantah pernyataan Martiono yang mengatakan tidak pernah ada RUPS Newmont di 2005 terssebut.
"Martiono baru menjadi pegawai PT NNT pada 2009, bagaimana bisa dia membantah bahwa RUPS itu tidak pernah ada," kata Jusuf Merukh dari Kuala Lumpur, hari ini.
Jusuf menambahkan, kepada Blake Rhodes (Vice President Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Development Newmont), Pukuafu sudah menyampaikan semua dokumen mengenai RUPS itu dan surat Menteri ESDM tanggal 3 Januari 2006 tentang RUPS itu. Semua dokumen tersebut telah dikirim salinannya kepada Blake Rhodes dan ditembuskan kepada Martiono selaku Presdir Newmont.
"Jadi kedua isu itu bukan pencemaran nama baik tetapi benar-benar Martiono menggelapkan dengan bukti dan fakta. Saya persilakan saja, hanya saya khawatir Martiono menggali lebih dalam kuburnya bagi diri sendiri," katanya.
Jusuf menegaskan, dengan sikap Martiono ini, sebagai Presdir Newmont yang diusulkan Pukuafu, pendiri dan pemegang saham 20% Newmont, maka Pukuafu kemungkinan akan menarik kembali dukungan kepada Martiono selaku Presdir Newmont, apalagi apabila beliau sudah sah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka.
Seperti diketahui, Martiono hari ini melaporkan pejabat PT Pukuafu Indonesia yaitu Jusuf Merukh Cs ke Mabes Polri dengan tuduhan pencemaran nama baik. Selain Jusuf, yang dilaporkan Martiono adalah Nana Merukh, Gustav Merukh, Tri Asnawanto, Harshi Sriharmani, dan Ditha Evasari.
